Some cities buy a lot of chemicals other than the standard commodities of chlorine and fluorine. They need to, to treat issues in their water or wastewater. Some factories do also, to treat the byproducts left in their water from their production process.
I never know, until I review: the quantities bought annually, the pricing, and the particular chemicals involved…but, on a case by case basis, I’ve found past clients savings that range from 32-42-68%. THAT’S A BIG DEAL. It’s never been by changing the chemical to another one, and the clients already were getting bids and quotes before I came.
This is the value an outside pair of eyes can bring to the table: the ability to see things from a different perspective, and the know how to work it through.
